Dude's absolutely correct about striped bass. They really need to be revived and released asap. Always good to see stripers being returned to the ocean. Wish more people would practice catch and release. Too many idiots keeping cows because 'muuuhhhh, post muh big fish on Facebook'. That kind of nonsense keeps up and we'll be right back to the days of moratorium.

I love fishing and watching these videos. One question, please: how often do you go out and fail to catch enough to make a decent video? I know with the equipment, depth and fish finders, etc. plus knowing GPS locations for various structure it has to be relatively easy to find fish but do they not sometimes just refuse to bite?

In your vids you measure your fish in inches. I'm 76 and the measurement used to be in pounds with 50 being the gold standard for stripers, bull reds and a few others. Due to commercial fishing, pollution and a few other things your method might be better.

my biggest rock to date is 53.65 lbs caught by the bay bridge in virginia 20lb braid and 50lb shock leader 2oz jig with eel the bay has to be one of the best places for rockfish

You are the right handed guy. Using right hand held the rod throwing bait but then hold the rod with left hand for a long battle. Your right hand is stronger than left. Take time to change.
