Good ole days fishing off Bonnet Shores in Narragansett Bay back in the 70s. When the weather turns cold the big stripers roll in.

After a tough day of fishing, this definitely hits the spot watching you catch some cows. Can’t wait to head back east and get some of my own! Keep it up! 👍🏼👍🏼

Putting that boat to work Rich. Well done man. I like the heavier tackle to get those fish in quick for a solid release. Experience really shows.

I am down in Maryland and we don't ever get the runs like you all do with these fish! What is more impressive is the fact that you have your fun, and release them. The thrill of catching these giants is amazing. For you to share your techniques, and to show your spots, a stand up fisherman. This is what it use to be when I grew up, and things have changed in our industry! Ever need a extra rod, I'd love to come battle a few of these girls lol. Tight lines my friend, stay safe!

Dude's absolutely correct about striped bass. They really need to be revived and released asap. Always good to see stripers being returned to the ocean. Wish more people would practice catch and release. Too many idiots keeping cows because 'muuuhhhh, post muh big fish on Facebook'. That kind of nonsense keeps up and we'll be right back to the days of moratorium.

Reading the comments I agree. Your fishing skills are spectacular! Make some very hard casts look like child's play and you use a kayak most of the time. (which is a workout)

Awesome day of striper fishing with perfect weather conditions/tides too. One time I was fishing Northside of Indian River Inlet in Del on jetty under bridge casting white bucktails with bubble gum pink culprit plastic worms. I fought like 12 fish till got one over 28" long. My arms were done from fighting them including the outgoing tide current. Best day ever ! No one else around me had pink worms lol. You talk about some fishing envy! Great video your one hell of a fisherman! Keep video's coming for sure!

Give a slow pitch jig ago, no skirts and they catch fish. Palms slow blatt are one of my favourites. 60-100g. Lob it out and fish whichever part of the water column you wish. Don't be afraid to use small 60-80g slow blatts for big fish. I've caught 70-80lb cobia on 60g jigs.
