Crabs don’t stand a chance! Should be banned to commercial fishers within 20 klm of the coast. Same for net fishing. Greedy individuals taking away a God given right to everyone to be able to supply fresh seafood to their tables. Prawn industry as well, all the same and most of the produce sold to other countries.

Mate commercials arent the problem, they dont take as much as you would think, recs are the real problem because no one monitors them. Theres so many recs that take more than their limit as well as throw back dead fish just because they caught a bigger 1. I saw commercial fisherman take half as many salmon in 1 net from shore as the recs along the beach were catching on line and the recs were throwing them back, the next day they washed up on shore because salmon dont release well
