Catching Feebas in Pokémon Diamond/Pearl

When it's 2016 and you decide to grind for a Feebas at 2 AM just to find it after only fishing in 2 tiles. How lucky am I?

@ThePikastar I found mine by process of elimination. Out of the 400*400 area of water apparently only 6 of those spaces will have Feebas. I just fished one square and moved to the next and found it in a few hours. I used the good rod.

@KhanRuss it is because pokemon grow differently with different natures. For example, you would probably want a feebas with a modest nature because it boosts the sp atk. stat by 10%, while at the same time it lowers the attack (which feebas was never good at) by 10% as well. So different natures boost different types of stats.

milotic doesnt show up in the 3 games u have to evolve feebas..finding it is quite the challenge..but in black and white and bw2 they can be fished..i dunno why gamefreak make it so difficult to find em..but im glad they lifted that difficulty a bit in gen V

It's in four random fishing spots in Mt. Coronet and the spots change every day, which is why so many people want to trade for them instead of catch one themselves.

dude everyday the game generates four random fishing spots/water tiles where these stuff are found..so it changes, he may have found it there but you might not find it in yours..so yup nother painstaking FFF routine fish,fish forward well now im dropping it off coz sometimes they dont appear when reeling in twice.so i recommend fishing like, 3-4 times then move on..but for me im going badass(stupid), fish anywhere i can't take it anymore >.

Feebas is actually just catchable at 4 different spot in this 'sea'.I would just enter the place he catched his !There the catching-Rate is about 50%

ok I found Feebas. but now I have no berries or poffins to feed it i left the world a barren wasteland in terms of berry trees. Do i hAve to talk to the berry master each day and plant new ones? I think thats the only way

i think is only matter of which rod you use. i was using the super rod. but when i tryed with an old rod, i ONLY found magikarp (and feebas)

Wich rod does he use, coz he says old rod but how can you get a wishcash lvl 37 with an old rod?.. I only get magikarp with old rod and with good rod barboach and magikarp, with super rod wishcash and gayrados..

1. The "trendy phrase" thing is only in ruby/sapphire/emerald. In diamond and pearl, the tiles change randomly every day. 2. In ruby/sapphire/emerald, even if you have the same phrase as someone else, that doesn't mean you will have the same tiles as them. The tiles change randomly whenever you change the phrase.

what do you want for a female feebas? i can give hippowdon, happiny, eevee (if i didnt get my salamence for it), crobat YES CROBAT, luxray, and if you have other requests uhh idk i try to work something out, but those are mainly the pokemon that are okay and easy to get rid of lol..

Old Rod only works for Platinum. For Diamond and Pearl, you MUST use the Super Rod. Hope this helps!

Ken Roberts not really. i've tried it and it works just fine. of course you'll keep catching magikarp instead of whiscash, but if a feebas is there you will catch either way :) still, getting a super rod is easy so.. :P

+FAKoLL Yea, if you find the right tile, then all rods will work, but they will still be around the same level no matter what rod. I just like the high hook rate the Super Rod gives.

if you give kricketune the item metronome and use the fury swipe move or whatever it is that kricketunes have you can multiply damage exponentially and make kricketune the shit

I caught 9 Feebas today! 3 female and rest are male. You dont need defog though. You can use any kind of rod, but I recommend the super rod for higher leveled Feebas. So check each square for a Feebas. You must check atleast 4 or 5 times in one spot. If you catch a Feebas in one day, the spots dont change so when you run out of pokeballs just remember where you were go buy pokeballs anc come back. I got my Feebas on the 5th square from the top! It took awhile! I hope this helps!

While you CAN catch feebas with all the rods, it's best if you don't use the super rod (i prefer the good rod myself) because you'll come across higher level pokemon like gyrados which aren't as easy to escape from and slows down your searching process considerably. Hope this helps.

The old rod would work better because in Mt. Coronet its only Magikarp you can fish up with the old rod so you'll have a 50/50 chance if your in the right spot and the good rod would be less of a drop rate because the good rod fishes up Magikarp and barbroch.
