The 1st time i blayed pkmn X i got evee and wanted to get an umbreon. Well i played with evee and wut not and when it evolved and sylveon appeared and not gonna lie i was disapointed. Until i read that in order to get a sylveon it has to love its trainer. Felt like an ass for being upset and i kept it on my main team. Ive kept it since then and it fathered my entire evee family and was also the 1st pokemon i ever trained to lvl 100.

It's easy when use the lotto number trick (which tells you which tiles the feebas are on). Making poffins isn't hard, it's just the finding feebas part which is hard, if you don't know the trick that is.

I put a Scope Lens and gave a Dire Hit to my Farfetch'd to level it up in one battle. That wasn't too bad once I looked up what it required. Kudos to whomever figured out fucking Runerigus though. Fun fact: Goodra was supposed to be a dragon/water type at first but later on they decided to leave it as just a dragon type because apparently otherwise there would be too many water type pokemon in this generation. The weather condition that's needed to evolve Sliggoo into Goodra was because of that secondary type.

Yeah I remember that. I immediately started getting up affection and had it almost immediately and did that in both my runs in both sun and moon. And I beat both of those games within 24hours of the launch... I nerded the f*** out of those two games lol. I beat moon by like 9-10am.... And then had work at 5pm... Actually it is four times, if you want to complete the dex you'll lose Porygon2 if you just trade it twice. 1.- Porygon->Friend. 2.- Friend->Porygon, then evolves into Porygon2. 3.- Porygon2->Friend. 4.- Friend-> Porygon2, then evolves into Porygon-Z. See? Four trades.

One thing Michael didn't mention about Meltan is that while it does take 400 candies like Magikarp and Wailmer, their buddy distance (the distance you have to walk with a Pokemon as your buddy in order to get one candy) is 1k. Meltan's buddy distance is 20k

The reason eevee needs to know a fairy move to evolve into sylveon is so that it doesn’t evolve into espeon or umbreon as all 3 are friendship evolutions

This is false until gen 8 (idk gen 8 very well) In gen 6 and 7 the affection mechanic from Pokémon Amie was separate from the friendship mechanic that has been around since gen 2. You can only obtain Espeon and Umbreon using friendship, and you can only obtain Sylveon using affection (Pokémon Amie)

These are harder to figure out than to do: 1) Inkay requires leveling up while the game is upside down. 2) Shedinja requires an empty spot in your party, which most people only have before catching 6 Pokémon. 3) Mantyke requires a Remoraid in the party.

Milotic was actually worse to get than you said in Gen III. Not only was Feebas hard to get, there was a limit to how many pokeblocks you could feed a Pokémon. So if you got a Feebas that didn't like dry food, or fed it too many crappy pokeblocks, you could reach the pokeblock limit without maxing out the beauty stat.

I remember it took me just over 3 hours to find a female Salandit in Moon. Then when I was playing Sun and decided to go for a completely different team, the second Salandit I encountered was female.

The reason for Eevee needing a fairy type move is because Eevee already evolves into 2 other pokemon through high affection, so it makes sense so as to avoid getting Umbreon or Espion.

There should be some kind of NPC in the games that says something like, "I was holding my Inkay upside down when it leveled up, and it evolved! Maybe you should try it."

Sylveon became way easier to get in Sun & Moon, as you can get an Eevee in the grass one routes 4 and 6 at levels 14-17. These Eevee also usually already have Baby-Doll Eyes in their move set. If it doesn't, all you have to do is train it to learn charm, which should happen by the time you finish the fire trial. Once the fire trial is finished, you have Charizard as a ride pokemon and can go to Poke Pelago immediately. It's extremely easy to get rainbow pokebeans there, and it only takes a few of them to max out a pokemon's affection. Milotic is even HARDER to get in gen 3 due to the berry glitch. Basically after a year, time would break in game and you could no longer grow or obtain berries from the berry master. Not to mention, Feebas was already EXTREMELY hard to obtain, as you could only find it by fishing it up on SIX water tiles of route 119. The six tiles aren't the same for everybody either, and the only only way to change which tiles spawn Feebas, is to change the trendy phrase in Dewford. So yeah, Milotic was really hard to evolve in gen 3.
