@@graceifishing The emotion in your voice while instructing your dad to, :GET THE NET.....GET THE NET!!!! Will go down as the best 'Net Call' in history. I think your pictures may be good enough to have a replica mount of the fish made. I would for sure check it out. They are a bit pricey, but one done by a quality professional taxidermist is a work of art.. You can see your catch while have the satisfaction of allowing it to go free (something that scant few would do these days)

Best way to catch them for sure top water you just can't go wrong with a spook congrats on the new PB getting that bait between all them branches is golden frustrating some times but definitely pays off keep it coming that looked like allot of fun

Awesome fish. I've been fishing Shasta since 2008, and it's bigger than any bass i caught there. My biggest there is a 5.03 spotted bass. It's actually1 bigger than any bass I've caught except one out of Whiskeytown. I subscribed

That was a nice bass. I've done a little fishing myself and I never caught a bass that big. 5-6 pounds is the best I got. I know some men that have fished a lifetime and never caught one that big lol

Have a second rod handy with a follow up bait like a senko tied on. Throw it out there when a fish misses your topwater. Congrats on your pb bass.

NYYYYCE... Just goes to show you don't need a $100,000 boat to catch fish... Well done.. Little tip.. When you're reeling in and you have drag going out try not to reel or horse the fish because A you'll have some crazy line twist and damage your line.

Usually the bigger bass I find will be deeper this time of year, and the little guys will be on top. Of course anything is possible though haha, could catch a monster anywhere
