You need a couple of electric reels. I have 2 of them and absolutely love them. Living and fishing in alaska in 500 feet of water catching 100 lb halibut they are a must for me

I was lucky enough to go to Sea Mount Vema on a frigate, SAS President Pretorius for sea trials after a refit. Great day spent fishing and chilling as the weather was awesome. Early 1980's. When we still had a navy!

Awesome fishing and off the best fishing platform, those Kingies just snapping rods and destroying reels, incredible. Thats living right there, you couldn't ever tire of that. It also didn't look sharky, was there any about?

What other species of fish are there. ? I would never think you would catch fish in the middle of nowhere. What water temp is it there.? If there are marlin is that the mozambique current going around Cape Point. Strong fish. We would catch them among the geelbek here in KZN during sardine run but on 9 inch KP reels. A workout. 😁. What bottom fish are living there. Nice to see you practise catch and release. Don't know if I'm more jealous of the surf spots or the fishin spots you get to visit. 😂Hope the chinese and spanish long liners stay away. stay away.
