Imagine how self-loathing you have to be if your own soul calls you stupid, takes the form of people you want/want to be, and is more attractive pretending to be someone else than being you. I actually feel rather sorry for Hazamada; he's a degenerate for sure, and none of his hardships excuse or justify his behavior (especially not what he tried to do to a recreation of the girl he likes), but it's definitely not easy being looked down upon and considered ugly and creepy. I like to think being a Stand-user gave him a community to belong to, even if he doesn't get along very well with some of them.

Should Hazamada find a new "host" like a mall mannequin, there's no reason he shouldn't be able to manifest it again. Even Stands like Black Sabbath, which aren't "bound" but still have similar independence, can be destroyed and still return.
