I have a dumb suggestion for the pond, don't know the word for it, but you can buy criss crossed iron structures used in construction, basically you pour cement on it, and it kinda keeps it together. My dumb idea is if you bought one, you could use it to fence off that spot where the fish spawn, so the bass and catfish wouldn't be able to eat the fish eggs, so theoretically you could have a nursery area , if you feed them, they should stay in that area, then you could net them and release them in different spots once they got bigger? I'm kinda clueless, but a catfish could wipe out the blue Gill nests whilst they're still eggs, and you want them to hatch and grow, so a fence so the bigger predatory fish can't get to the nursery spot kinda makes sense?
