Great video! I can’t wait to take the family out and teach my daughter how to catch her own fish. Good idea with the small hook and bread. Easy for the little ones to understand.

This is what I love doing with nsw dpi fishcare, I volunteer and love nothing better Was at a caravan park at your area, kid was up at 6am fishing on small jetty caught nothing , I was there at 8am, I was catching mullet, so changed his hook to smallest hook plus a split ring, showed him how to put bread on, within 10 minutes I had him catching small stuff, then I introduced him to circle hooks, and he was catching fish for hours His parents came over and couldn’t believe it We were catching bream, mullet, Trevally, luderick

Smallest hook I cook find was size 10. Hope that will be small enough. Also got some smaller rods for my kids.. a 3ft9 rod for the little one and a 5ft for the 6 year old. My old 6ft rod will be for my 9 year old. Can't wait to try all this with my kids in April.

This is off topic but have you ever tried using worms from the garden? I was thinking red wrigglers would go alright for bream especially if you breed them to be bright red.
