I have tested it in 1.20.2 and it works quite well, just a small detail with the villagers who do not want to get professions, but everything is pretty good 👍

origin realms server has that system. also in there if you capture mobs the durability of the net is used

you've made me realize that custom datapack items can totally have their own version of durability, i should look into that lol
