Another great video, I really enjoy running dillies instead of set pots, a lot of people underestimate their effectiveness, there is something really special about the simple forms of fishing and it doesn't get better than a feed of fresh prawns and crabs especially cooked in the water they came from. Thanks for sharing 👍

A couple of hours down the creek, 3 crabs, a feed of prawns for lunch, what more could you ask for, better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick. Keep these awesome videos coming.!!!!👍👌🦀🦐🎣

another great video. great to see flourishing eco system.. birds going crazy. are you allow to modify your traps? suggest maybe wrap n secure old netting around circumference of the trap & top cover with slit in middle let them go in and kinda stay in.

It is definitely a healthy environment with a diversity of bird and marine life! These pots are designed to be checked regularly and if they are not the crabs have a feed and leave! I do have pots that are enclosed to keep the crab trapped once they enter the pot! Thanks for your comment!👍

Another great video mate. I went down the creek the other day with the dillies for a couple of hours and got 4 nice bucks. Such a simple way of crabbing to cover more territory and really effective. 🦀🦀🦀

How long will the mud crabs keep on ice.

Good question! I try to cook my crabs the same day I catch them to avoid the risk of them spoiling. I am sure there are lots of different opinions on how long they last keep on ice. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Cheers!
