When you released that giant pompano I almost unsubscribed!! Just kidding dude! What a beast. Never had Pomp. It's on my bucket list. Hoping to get my brother to make a trip with me down to the Alabama coast, and maybe even down where you are in Florida. I'm getting pretty close to retirement, and I want to spend a few springs down that way before I go meet my maker. Love the channel. The variety is what makes it superior to a lot of other channels. Really digging the truck camping.

Nice video thanks JC. I thought the Pomp you caught would sure get an invitation to tea! No way would I eat fish that had been frozen with the guts in. I bought some 10" frozen whole fish here for bait a few years ago, and once I started cutting it up, man it was stinking. My clothes were stinking for weeks despite a number of trips through the washer. Stay safe & well! 🎣🎣👍👍

JC sets the example that more SW FL fishermen should take. Let's help our fishery keep healthy. Let the big ones grow and spawn so that our offspring can catch their offspring. Kudos to JC and all of the other anglers willing to sacrifice a little bit for the future. Hopefully the scientists will find a way to control Karenia brevis aka Red Tide in the future.

They need to complete the Everglades reclamation project and allow the water from Okeechobee to flow south into the Everglades. When they build the dykes 100 years ago for the farms it trapped the water there and all the run off from the farms dumps fertilizer into the water and then it’s discharged out the two canals east and west every year causing the algae bloom.

The truck's in good shape. I have one more thing I need to have done, axle bearings and seals. The one tire that doesn't have the matching rim is where the seal is leaking. I'm guessing it has something to do with the previous owner cracking that tire rim in that area.

Have you heard any specials being run by certain companies that are selling e-bikes? They start off by saying that they're only 39 or $49 for a certain amount until they have to give them away and then charge regular price of $680 or something similar? I've just wondering if that is a scam the other ones that are so cheap? Or is that really worth looking into? I'm ready to go as soon as PT says I'm clear, and away, away, away.... I want to go!

Just a suggestion, so you don’t burn your garlic. Heat up your oil and drop the whole clove of garlic in and let it infuse with the oil then remove it. This will prevent your garlic from burning. I’m Italian and this is how we do it not all the time, but in your case definitely. Americans use way too much garlic than is necessary. Best, Charles

Thanks for watching. I don't reveal locations 99% of the time. Just go to any major Florida inlet during the spring or fall and you'll find Pompano. That information is better than me giving you an exact location. Pompano are always in the inlets during those times of year. Just get out there and jig for them, keep moving around until you find them. You want some moving current, but not super swift. If you can get near where the beach meets the inlet you're golden. Just about every Pompano video I've ever made was in a Florida inlet, either off the shore or bridge. Good luck!
