I only dream of catching fish like this! One day I will save enough for a boat and enjoy a beautiful day out on the water like this! 🙏🏾🙌🏾

It was probably my best day yet catching reds. Do a little research on KZbin on Trophy Bass Haven in Centerpoint la, me and you going there next!

If you need a new spinning reel I highly recommend a Daiwa BG2500. Its around $100 and it has a really strong frame and is smooth.

Does it holds good on salt water?

@@LivingOutdoors yes, they are very popular for inshore saltwater. I would go 2500 size if you are targeting trout, 2500-3500 for 30” and under redfish, and no less than a 4000 if targeting Old Drum 40”+ like we do in Pamlico sound, NC. You can land them on smaller gear but you don’t want them to fight very long due to higher fatality rates. I run a 4000 on a medium heavy with 30lb braid and 50lb mono leader for old drum.

Did you launch at the Fourchon public launch? Is it open?
