I love watching these local fishing areas. Unfortunately, I've never really had much chance to fish the Duwamish. This year season I am definitely going to fish it. Thanks for the upload.

Hi Carlos, it's fantastic to hear from you, my friend. Great job catching the fish and thanks for sharing your techniques in this video. Looking forward to seeing you catch more fish on the river.

Hi Lee, man I miss fishing, haven’t had any time, been busy with my son.
@LeeThoeun Жыл бұрын
You spent quality time with your son. That is more important than fishing, my friend. Fishing, you will find time later. Losing a son’s baseball game event, for example, you cannot make up. I'm sure I'll see you with your son fishing one day 🤝

Hey Buddy, that place what part of Duwamish river, what exit? are you using Barbless Hook? Thanks and Catch more Fish ,
@LeeThoeun Жыл бұрын
This place is known as 112th Street by Uhaul. It's a bit south of the USPS Hub on the Seattle/ Tukwila border. It is Cecil Moses Memorial Park. Everyone I observed was using barbless hooks. Good luck! Please subscribe. Thank you.

There's no reason to use barbless hooks.
@LeeThoeun Жыл бұрын
@duckwacker8720 I think some people are using barbless hooks intentionally, even though it's not required so they can catch and release the salmon safely. Why? I’ve seen guys who just wanted the Coho instead of the Pink. Other than that, I don't know what other reasons. Thank you.

When was this? I thought pinks were all done.
@LeeThoeun Жыл бұрын
A couple of weeks ago. You can still catch pinks in this part of the Duwamish River. However, the majority of the pinks are up rivers by now.

pretty mean to put the salmon on a rope alive back in the water. not legal in europe!
@duckwacker8720 Жыл бұрын
Good thing we're not in socialist Europe.
@LeeThoeun Жыл бұрын
Well, the fishermen want to keep their fish alive as long as possible. I can see other methods; mesh type bag or cage then leave it in the water. How do you do it in Europe?

@@LeeThoeunwe kill the fish, we clean the fish, we put the fish on ice. So we don’t harm the fish for hours.

The Duwamish isn't a river is a waterway. You're fishing the Green River.

What does the duwamish lead to?
@LeeThoeun18 күн бұрын
@mtime143 Great question. It leads to green river, goes through Tukwila, and Kent, Washington.
