Tim/Matt, these are awesome. Actual fishing educational videos. Would love to see a day on the water with you guys as well, or even where you break down a new lake too!
@tacticalbassin7 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Kyle! We actually have all of that in our playlists if you go to the channel, then playlists. We went and broke down 3 different new lakes last year and filmed the whole thing. We'll be doing more this summer as well.

You should make a video where you go back to where you caught your personal best bass at and film a day of fishing

Yeah man my lake has schools of gizzard shad and alewifes. Last year I was in a pocket and shad just bustin the surface all over then the bass came up and just murdered them. I threw everything I had at them except I didn't have underspins or a-rigs. This year I am prepared. Your videos help me a lot. Keep it up.

do you think using a micro jig like a swim jig would get bit the same as a swim jig because you can use lighter floro with the small wire hook that the micro has or would the micro jig not have the right action
@tacticalbassin7 жыл бұрын
You'd have to try it to find out for sure but I don't think you'd have the drawing power

i gotta private quarry i fish and am fairly new to hard core bass fishing, but i snagged i guess it would of beeb a 2.5 pound shad, so i guess that means theres schools of shad population in this man made quarry, im sure theres multiple ways that shad are in small quarrys and ponds but how do they get there?? probaly a dumb question but im wo dering if it was just random or do man made quarrys have schools of shad like you showed in the video?
@mr.fatbasstard6487 жыл бұрын
ripalip 2960 Common rock Quarries such as lime, sand and gravel require Environmental Protection in most States and the closed system pond water is routinely checked for environmental impacts. Shad are part of the process of keeping long standing pond water 'healthy'. Gizzard Shad are Detritus feeders (bottom garbage) and used has a mitigation measures for environmental impacts to the pond water. Many fowl are attracted to the pond water along with frogs and other critters. Bottom-line, man puts them in most 'common' rock Quarry ponds.

Do you guys swear by those rico poppers? They're like 4x more expensive than all other poppers on the market
@tacticalbassin7 жыл бұрын
They're REALLY nice! Now, there are definitely generic poppers that catch fish, we won't act like they don't... but Rico and yellow magics are both (identical) and worth the $$ IMO.
