I caught 9 bass today in about 2 hours fishing open water schools in 40ft of water. I only threw at fish that were busting. Caught 3 on a jerk bait and 6 on a popper. Talk about fun!!

I learned that I need a fast retrieved & the right lure choice. Also when to slow the retrieve & stay in 8'-10' foot range & stay over top of fish. Very informative video!

Conditions change daily. What works for him probably won’t work exactly for you.. I used this method and I’ve actually used it for a while and never get skunked. I work a bullet pop 80 followed and a jerk bait or fluke. But in general around the world depending on day this is perfect advice.

I'm not talking about whether or not that works in that situation. I'm saying I've never been in that situation. I've never seen a big school or multiple fish breaking the surface in the same area. I get excited if I see 5 or more fish on the screen and I'll occasionally see a random fish breaking the surface, but not very often.

@@robginn24 I'm 42 and caught my first fish when I was 7... I can catch fish on top water and on flukes. I've just never seen a giant school with multiple fish breaking the surface like that.
