Here in southwest Florida, it has been extremely hot also. Intracoastal water temperature is over 90 degrees. We go out around 7 am but can't stay out for long; just too hot. You did land some nice catches. Thanks for posting this video.

Appreciate it…I may try to do a couple afternoon trips once the middle of the day is over and see how I do, but the temps are very extreme for sure

I live in Lafayette didnt know much about the area but i Seen your video and since then have caught two big bull reds in the Delcambre canal ! you ever snag catfish ? last time i went by the shrimp plant they were treble hooking good size cats .. I never seen that done before hell idk if even legal but it was cool.

I do not snag catfish at all, it is legal but I don’t find it ethical so I stay away from it

I caught a big cat there we dont ever see big red only drums cats and gaffs

Why do you complain about gaff top catfish, they are good to eat.

When I’m catching after redfish, they aren’t exactly what I want on the end of my line lol
