Stop pounding our local lake trout Amani lol. Love your videos bro. These are my neck of the woods. I just came back from Lake Tahoe basin. Caught a few cut throats from echo lake and fallen leaf thanks to your videos. Me and my girlfriend were watching your videos in the condo we rented and because of that I was able to convince my girlfriend to hit a few lakes.

Right on. Trolling is not a major part of my game so I'm not the best at it but I'm getting better.

Nice video! What is your leader setup? Length, type of line, lb test? And are you attaching it to lead-core via swivel or direct? Keep up the content tx!

I fish Suffix lead core line which sinks about 7 feet per color now and then about a 20 foot leader of braided line. I tie the braided line directly to the lead core with a swivel at the end where I clip on a lure or flasher/dodger set up. I usually put a flasher/dodger on and then about an 18" 10lb mono leader before I tie on a lure. To be fair, I am not the greatest at trolling but I catch fish. Sometimes it's all that is working so it's a good extra arrow to have in the quiver. Most of the basic fishing strategies I use in the hundreds of videos I have across my channel playlists have detailed videos on my fishing tips playlist but trolling is one where I just try to do the best I can giving a quick rundown of what I am doing in the actual fishing video.

That lake is cool. I love the granite domes towering over the lake.

Whats the trout limit/ size limit in Fresno? Lets say if i were to fish at Lost lake or whatever?

I recommend always checking the official regulation book. My basic understanding is, the general limit in California is 5 trout per day. Fish you release aren't counted in your limit. I always take a quick look at the special regulations list when I am fishing new water because some waters have a zero bag limit, catch and release only, or have a special bag and size limit. Most reservoirs in California follow general regulations but it is always good to take a quick glance. I believe the general size limit for rainbow trout is 6": If I am cooking whole trout on a fire 10"-12" is what I shoot for because they cook fast. On this trip I only kept one fish trolling on day 1 to bring home. I think I kept 4 or 5 smaller fish for my campfire cooking demo on the 2nd day.
