License mechanic here in Ontario. That 100% is not a safety concern. As long as all lights work as intended that is what passes. I would fight that for sure or take it to another shop.

We tried.. we got the sob story about their license being taken away.. should have gone elsewhere to spare us the 2wks of waiting for lights we didn't really need. But, we had already paid the $235 for the assessment so we ordered after market lights and waited. Aside from that we had a fun day on the ice 😊. Thanks for watching ☺️

🤣. We usually split it up better but our car didn't have enough space for a second sled 😅. One the way back we made two "handles" in the rope so I could help. It's definitely hard work getting out there!

Good Vid... What kind of charcoal is that? looks pretty decent... Last summer I was up in that area at Trout Lake. Really deep Lake, really deep, really fast. Last year was kind of slush up there They said, but I'll probably be going up there soon.

FOGO Premium Hardwood Lump Charcoal. Pretty sure we pick it up at Independent Grocery on a whim. Yes Trout Lake is very deep. Beautiful lake! Did you manage to catch any keepers? Yes, last winter we had some really slushy lakes. We don't seem to be getting long enough cold snaps to keep the ice from getting slushy.

@@ottawaan7326 about 6 inches on Callander Bay. It is still worth checking the ice as you go. Later in the day yesterday someone's ice shack went through the ice. Be safe out there!
