Over the past few years, your fly fishing videos have inspired me to love Fly Fishing and fishing with the Catch and Release system to preserve the existing fish. The amazing video capture technique makes every time I watch it inspires me to make my fishing videos like yours. But I believe my video is still far from expectations and will keep trying. Thanks for the inspiration 🙏😁

Wow what a beautiful place to fish New Zealand seems to be the land of the monster trout. It's always funny to me that all over the world we still fish the same techniques the "Hopper dropper" is one of my favorite was to chase trout. Thanks for another awesome video Todd.
@CatchMagazine2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Yes, I really try to concentrate on just the dry fly technique, but dry/dropper is deadly when these fish get picky in super low water conditions. It’s fun to watch either way. Thanks for the support!
@Nubenhoofer11 ай бұрын
Viewers should take careful notes of how this guy approaches spots. When you have gin clear water, you have to employ painstaking stealth tactics. Crouching down behind boulders, getting a perch up high on logs to scout the river from above and away, minimal weight tackle, and above all else, super long accurate casting are the things that separate folks that catch a fish or two from those that get double digits. Well done showing the world how the damn thing is done correct, and for the high quality video production. Keep em coming!

An amazing video as always but knotted landing nets and driving an ATV through a river?
@CatchMagazine2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree with you. That’s just how they do it in New Zealand and in many other countries. The landing nets are changing quickly, the atv’s not so much. The real problem in NZ is the pollution from helicopter travel. Bryan uses his atv for clients who can’t access the river at all. Like an off road wheelchair to get them from place to place.

I think you should one day make a film on the Tongariro or Taupo in general. The Tongariro's already been well documented a long time ago and everything but I still think it'd be a good idea because it's changed and it's only really vlog Yotubers doing it now, so a film would be cool and you're someone with that kind of capability.
