I love the TVS era of Catchphrase. Roy Walker was the best. Epic at 0:47 and 0:52.

Oh, so that's a good reason why the episodes were shown out of the order they were taped. Also, I noticed on some episodes, the audience looks alike, so I assume they could have taped two episodes on the same day. (For example, I checked the intros of episodes 1 and 3 of series 9 and they both have the same audience.) Anyways, thanks for giving the information.

Winning Streak The do tend to changed the running order so they have a mixture of winners and losers. I went to see countdown recorded at Yorkshire TV in the mid 90's and they recored 6 episodes in one day. 4 in the afternoon which i saw recorded and 2 in the evening. These do go out in production order, so after each episode, the audience had to change seats. Supermarket Sweep i saw recorded at Central TV and they recorded 3 or 4 episodes in the afternoon, the running order was changed in these. This series of Catchphrase moved from a Saturday to a Friday so that could of been when they missed it out one week.

This was as an one off if ITV had commissioned a full series they would have kept Roy at the helm Andrew O Conner was ok he brought a light hearted tone he was funny granted but it didn't have the same feel keeping the TVS theme tune was ok too

I guess that makes as much sense as spelling 'SAFETY' as 'SAFTEY' in the catchphrases - which already happened twice in series 9.

Its wonderful to see a whole family win a typical family holiday especially to Disneyworld. I've been to the one in Paris. Ever been to Disneyland before TVS productions?

Oh its fabulous. I'm sure its different to how it was when I went there. You really ought to go there sometime. There are rides of Peter pan, Pinocchio and Snow White. There's Aladdin's cave and many more. You WILL enjoy it. Go there and see what I mean.

So if this ep aired on the 1st of January 1994, and episode 11 aired on 22nd January, then that means that episode 10 must have aired on either the 8th of 15th January. On episode 10, did Roy say 'See you next week' or 'See you soon'? This might be a vital clue on that episode's air date.

Winning Streak He said "see you soon" on episode 10, but i think that will make no difference as this was recorded in 1992, so the order could of changed. the last few episodes shown in 1994 were made in 1991 so shown out of order from the rest of the series.
