i’ve been watching you since your first year of university annabelle, and i’m so excited to see you grow and thrive in your last year! you’ve always been so inspiring to me, from your artwork to hair and style changes, to working really hard on a project and giving it your very best shot, to traveling whenever you can. i see you and it makes me want to do all i can in life. i recently just started sketching this summer and i’m going to be putting color in my hair for the first time, and i left the U.S for the first time to London a couple months ago!! thank you for your content and for always showing us your authentic and true self, best wishes and love you always!

i totally relate to the incapability we feel sometimes, it's frustrating but it's a part of being human. some thoughts i live by are 1. there is no final version of yourself. you never stop growing nor should we. 2. learning to say "that was very human of me" instead of "that was very stupid/dumb/etc of me". 3. we grow. it hurts at first. love ya annabelle!

an oldie, but a goodie that i have to tell myself all the time: there is no such thing as being "enough" for someone else. "enough" is a concept that we've idealized in our minds, that we've each individually crafted through our insecurities to give ourselves the illusion of a standard. constantly, i have to remind myself to stop focusing on being "enough" for other people, and start focusing on being positive towards my own self and proud of my work. and if i don't remind myself that, i'll lose sight of myself and become captivated by only the thought of being "enough" for somebody or something. it's an awful habit, but still something that i'm working on bettering. best of luck in school, and may you find lots of wisdom and peace through your meditations :)

I’ve watched you from when you first started college to now and from that time frame I had my son, changed positions from a lonely flight attendant to a happy family working mom and I just wanted to say that your content is still as refreshing as those first vlogs in the dorm. Your videos are always calming and fresh and it’s so cool to see your growth and your art flourish. You are truly talented and I can’t wait to see your art and videos keep evolving. Hugs and kisses from Texas 😘

this was so soothing to watch? hope all is well and everyone is soaking in their last bits of summer before school hits! to stop needing validation from others is a hard thing to do. i think we should remember that we're all human and the most important thing is that we should please ourselves first, not others.

Hey Annabelle! I just wanna say that I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now. My health this year wasn’t too grand: a lot of sickness and a surgery. whenever I was out of school recovering (at some points confined to bed), all I would do was watch your videos. I just really want to thank you for making those days better and helping with my recovery 💙💙💙

these moment were really lovely to watch. this summer really has flown by and i can’t believe i’m starting university in just a few days. sorta surreal, scary, exciting, but at the same time i feel completely numb. excited but... not. i’m optimistic though, a whole new journey! I’m really really excited about your new site and your new channel with lilith! super cool things happening woot woot! Seeing you in universal made me miss florida so much! they were just building that new hagrid ride when i was there last so we weren’t able to ride it so i’m sad you didn’t get to go on. but you watched SHERLOCK! yesss, i hope you enjoyed!! one of my favourites. this comment is getting a little rambly but i’m sending love your way always as you start this new school year, i’m excited for what the future holds for us both. it’s gonna be a good one!! ❤️ jacob

I feel you. My first year of college wasnt the greatest bc i had a not so great professor, and unfortunately that negative mentality has kind of seeped into my thoughts about this year. Sometimes i feel guilty about these negative emotions or how i am not truly appreciating every moment i am given, but i try to remind myself that it is okay to feel these things. My mom always tells me that by only tasting the bitter things can you truly experience sweetness. I particularly love the music you chose in this, good luck this year and I have the utmost faith in you! ❤️❤️❤️

Annabelle, this vlog was absolutely stunning, thank you for taking us along with you on your adventures! ✨💛 I totally relate to what you wrote in your letter! Imposter syndrome is really difficult to overcome, we never see ourselves the way others might and I think like you said it stems from internal self doubt but also because we truly are our worst critics, things never seem to match our own expectations. I really struggled with this last year in my 2nd year of uni, I can't count the amount of times I cried after classes because I was too terrified to talk about my ideas or after I received an essay and didn't do as well as I had hoped, despite having people say that I did fine and that it doesn't matter anyway. Some things I live by that I've learnt this past year is that everything is temporary, the anxiety I feel about a bad mark or a class I'm dreading going to is going to pass, in a week, a month, I won't think about it anymore, that helps put it into perspective for me. Another quote I love is "the sun will come up, the seasons will change", although it feels like the end of the world, I actually will be okay because despite academia, I must remimd myself that I am a kind, creative person who deserves good things. Hope this helps in any way 🥰 Also, I adore your letters in the description, you could maybe collate them all and make a little book, they're so beautifully written and introspective, just an idea! 💛

idk why, but maybe because of my anxiety, i have been very very self-conscious----to the extent that i start despising myself. like why do i have to care so much about how others view me? everyone is judgy to a certain extent so if i have to be concerned about every single person's opinion and impression about me, i can't handle this. i get very tensed up when im in public. it's so annoying that i have to keep reminding myself to calm down, get over it, and dont give a damn about whether my actions in public will cause strangers to talk about me, etc. etc. you are not alone, Annabelle. I hope we all could get over this together.

Hiya! One thought I live by is 'yesterday doesn't matter' and if a mistake I make DOES keep annoying me, i think 'what do i need to learn?' It also helps me to remember that, when I'm lazy/upset that I have to keep working because discipline wont be fun. School hasn't started for me, but I am back early for my school organization and am keeping busy. I hope I helped, and thank u for your questions and concern🧡

Good luck with everything! I graduated last year and I wish I could go back and spend more time with my friends. You're at a weird corner in life where everyone splits up and pursues something new and different. Don't neglect opportunities to spend with the people you love, especially if they'll be moving away soon. Hold on to the kind words of others, and offer them to other people, too.

ahhh i really resonated with your description. i'm going back to school this week, and it's so easy for me to not enjoy myself and learning when i feel burdened by the pressures of others and/or pressure on myself to be 'better'. we should work on freeing ourselves from that mindset--definitely not easy, but makes everything more enjoyable and worth it, and brings the beauty back in learning best of luck in the upcoming school year! thanks for brightening all of our days, you're the best 🌻 p.s. love sherlock! you should check out person of interest too 😂

hi there Annabelle! it's allison writing to u again. I recently found out that as much advice and consolement i may seek, i will never truly listen and take it to heart until i learn for myself. and in that way i can relate to you. one thing i like to tell myself is to be more forgiving to myself. if today, i didnt accomplish something, or do it up to par, there is always the gift of tomorrow, to try again or, at least do things to make the action more easy, if that makes sense haha. may this school year be more enjoyable to the both of us :) im finally taking classes corresponding to my major now so im very excited to start next monday :) i look forward to seeing u in ur next videos!! bye now
