Caterham 270R vs Ginetta G40 GT5 - Racing at Rockingham Super Send Off ISSC

Daniel French driving Caterham 270R, Nick Halstead driving Ginetta G40 GT5 racing for position in the One Hour Endurance Race at Rockingham Super Send Off.
It was a great fun clean battle which we both thoroughly enjoyed. There was a further battle after our mandatory pit stops where I ended up behind Nick again, but managed to get past. Eventually finishing P5 overall in the race with Nick finishing overall P6, but ultimately both first in our respective categories.

Yes as Caterham’s are very un-aerodynamic they always benefit from a tow, even from a long way back.

@@DanielFrench I notice on my caterham, top speed will be affect on tail wind or head wind all the time

diyman25 yes, and tyre tread depth will also define top speed too, to the detriment of overall lap-time. The taller the tyre the higher the top speed (if you have the power to get there that is.)

@@DanielFrench Yes I can see it at datalogger with different size wheel, but for my perfence I like 13 better , because 15 Handel funny ………
