If the Veritas was actually fitted with the S65 V8 from the E92 M3, then the Top Gear crew were instructed to short-shift it for this segment; neither Hammond nor Stig were working it anywhere near the 8,400 RPM redline.

I'm turned off by the excessive holes and polish that kinda make it look more like there's ridiculous amounts of exposed hardware. I'm more a fan of flush, clean-chic designs that have at most a number of nuts around the edges, so the wheels look rather emmentaler to me.

shutter speed is for photographic still cameras.... Frame per second is for video formats and how many images are recorded per second by the sensor. FPS should be the correct term here. Shutter speed is in fractions of seconds ie. 1/100.

No, it's not green screen. It has to do with the frame rate that the show is filmed in (30 fps) - it happens quite a bit on Top Gear..
@ChazDraycott12 жыл бұрын
I've never heard a V8 that's so raspy!
@OmicronChan11 жыл бұрын
I think you are slightly confused.... in order for a revolving object to look like it is stationary means that it must move the angle between each spoke between each frame. The shutter speed simply makes the wheel more/less blurry in each frame. Let's say the wheel has 6 spokes, on 30 fps it means the wheel must turn 60 degrees every 1/30 of a second in order to look like it is stationary. the shutter speed would need to be in the range of 1/500 to get a clear image. Cave Johnson signing out.
