She's 4 days older then I am 1/14/31 and I am 1//18/31 I remember seeing on TV back in the late 1950s. I've been a big fan ever since. She speaks six languages and sings in eleven. We are both 92. According to Wiki she is still alive.

I just read her bio on Wikip. She had said "Old age is not for the faint-hearted. You slow down. The environment seems more chaotic. You have aches and pains like cataracts or droopy eyelids. But it's fascinating how you can lead a good life in old age!" That has been my thoughts for a long time, but I didn't want to sound like a cry baby.

Wow...where has this talent been hiding? Knocked me out with the killer vocals and guitar. Then when the drummer started hitting the floor, I thought it out of one of those old style movie musicals. And seconds later, she's tapping and dancing all over! And it became old style musical number that just leaves you wowed. No justice she's not better known. And Google just let me know she's still alive in her nineties. BRAVO!

She was very famous though , butbeing everywhete singing in every language ( to utter perfection must I say) made her sort of "impersonal" to every audience she performed for. You never knew if she was an italian singer or a german one or a fren h one or a british one or an american or a Brasilian or spanish and in the end , in each of these places , a very local talent ( short of finding another expression to define it) would make you feel you were in front of the great national star of THAT country ( and she would in thd end appear as a visiting guest). Being very low key and unassuming as a personality, her career sort of withered away with age.
