Thanks Brian! It’s definitely a passion we have. It’s important to keep the old stuff alive, can’t know where your going with the new stuff until you know where you’ve been with the old stuff. Thanks for checking out the channel.

Just bought a 54 112 . It runs great just a few leaks. I’m gonna put it to work this year doing driveways hopefully. Good info in your video

Thanks Zane! It’s a pretty solid little Unit. It will be extra handy once I’ve got my rural property for maintaining the lane and clearing snow.

Tinted glass won't help with it cool in the cab. Did it on mine. Wast of money. Never seen a 212 with a steering cover like a 12E. Looks cool.
@ironman34063 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback it though it might help keep sun out therefore make it cooler but if you did it with no success maybe I won’t bother. The steering box cover is not stock, it was fabricated by the previous owner

Use quality ceramic film, it will help.

I have a 1950 3u 112. I put new brakes on it had the mag reconditioned fixed the power steering adjusted the toe in. Had the generator rebuild to 12v. I left the starter motor on the pony motor 6v. It just spins faster. Went on a test drive in 6th gear and broke a drive chain locked up the left back wheel. Got a different one from a junkyard. I would like to have a 9t.

Flat spot to stand on the tandems to save the break lines Ok 👍 good idea 💡. Got it.

Why do they call them knuckle busters? I've heard different reasons
@ironman3406 Жыл бұрын
Hello there Treg - thanks for the question it’s a good one. All of the blade functions are run mechanically through a gear box inside the cab, the power then goes through various driveshafts and gearboxes outside to make the blade move. The clutches that mesh the gears together are mechanical and require the operator to snap them in, if they are out of adjustment when you try to move the lever they can snap back out and whack your hands, it hurts - thus the term knuckle busters.

Haha I was getting ready to ask you about front tires too. I need 7.50x24 old measurement or 8.3x24 new measurement for the Adams No. 311 and they need to be ribbed tread with 10 ply. Are you wanting ribbed tread or deep V type Tractor Lug TL
@ironman34063 жыл бұрын
Hey Dan I want to put the original OTR style tire on v type tread style. It was born with 10.00x24 but at some point it was unsized to the12.00x24 - there is a company in the US that is making new 10.00x24 so I might be going back to the factory size.
