I used to haul equipment around Indianapolis for a big company. Biggest they had was a 365. Hauled it on a rail trailer with no counter weight or bucket and stick. I thought that thing was a beast. Looking at the specs a 395 is way bigger almost hard to believe. Then you watch it fill haul trucks in 3 buckets and you know that’s a big boy excavator.

Very nice machine. Good operator owner. I’d slow down and add another bucket load, that’s considered light loaded to me. Also more trucks than he can handle. Good job.

yup. 2 to many trucks and a half bucket short. Easier on the trucks but jams the operator .

Looks like they are having to drive a distance to dump so he probably shorting to reduce any material being lost on the way to the dump site

Really a great machine & operator. I have seen the you tube program called 395 walk around. How can I find that again, it had all of the technical stuff. The upgrades that Cat engineers put in this machine, I would like to share that with info my Sons.

Great job with this video production.Enjoyable and entertaining for a heavy equipment enthusiast like me. That CAT 395 is a very impressive machine. I understand it is much stronger structurally than the 390F. Apparently Caterpillar added a lot more steel to the boom, stick, and undercarriage of the 395. The operating weight of the 395 is approximately 207,000 lbs. The 390F weighs in at about 190,000 lbs.

I saw this same operation on another channel where Aaron did an unintended cameo. I thought it was Aaron because they were talking about “…the latest and greatest camera gear…” and for seconds, I thought I saw his face. I guess I was correct. By chance, does anyone know if there is coal in the overburden? Pretty Black soil and it’s in Pennsylvania.

The haul truck is rated at 31.4yd or 24 cu meters heaped so damn, that thing is full in 3 scoops Something that size around here is usually 7-8 cu meter bucket

@@Sicktrickintuner only rock in norway.. maybe lightweight bucket on that one. But i rly find it hard to belive tho. Had a 120ton wich we used 6m3 on but it couldnt really lift more then that without really struggeling

I really like your show because there’s no bullshit and the machines are built for getting the dirt moved fast and all of the equipment is cat equipment and there’s not a whole lot of talking in your videos unlike the two shows that I use to watch and those two shows were dirt perfect and letsdig18 all of those guys on those two shows are as mouthy as a baby robin and don’t get the mission accomplished and there always takeing vacations and they don’t get there equipment built the right way for getting the job done faster both of the owners of those two excavating company’s must be blind because when I tell them to get a dump truck with rubber tracks on it so that it won’t get stuck on them they think that I’m telling them to get a bigger haul truck that has tires and that can keep on getting stuck on them I have tryed telling those two owners of both of those shows to get a bucket for there excavators that will fill a articulated truck in 3 passes and all they both do is back at me is complain about there loading a articulated truck times and not getting there excavators just the way that they want them to be
