Always liked how the bigger Wabco Haulpaks were painted white instead of yellow. Sort of gave them a presence in the pit.

I had a certification to operate both Terex R-27 and R-35 when I worked at Mendes-Junior Co., Brazil, in 1973. It was amazing!!

Another nice vid Justin, you were right the first time when you said four passes to fill these trucks, you changed your mind to three passes on the second truck, but I counted four.

I have nothing to do with mining but still I love to watch these mechanical monsters in action . Screw all the ridiculous new environmental regulations .

Great vid. Don't often see haul trucks like that without the exhaust going through the bed. Love the big iron.

No these trucks have Cummins engines
@PAmining13 жыл бұрын
@deeredrengen Those are diesel/electric drive trucks. The engine turns a generator which creates the power and transfers it to electric motors inside the wheel hubs which drive the rear tires

Love your videos man... Question-these wabco units, did they have the 8v149 detroits running in them? can't tell by looking or the engine noise.
@PAmining9 жыл бұрын
+Dynamo Joe Thanks! No actually these units are Cummins powered. The Detroit version of these trucks was powered by a 12V-149T

Are you using a different camera? I notice this is not as good a resolution or as sharp as most of your very best earlier work. Thanks for sharing.

Edward Jonez Yes, this is one of my earlier videos when I was shooting in 480p. I am now currently shooting in both 720p and 1080p

992 a little small for those trucks? We have a 992 that loads Cat 773's in three passes
@PAmining9 жыл бұрын
rocintrucker83021227 It's not an ideal 3 pass match, but it gets the job done. The 992C was rated to be matched with truck sizes ranging from 50 - 120 ton capacity.
@rocintrucker830212279 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the information. The 992 is still a monster. I hope to work up to be a shot loader operator.
