Knowing the steer clutches work made for a better day as most were bad one side or the other and then parked up to seize up. Most all were cable blade and made good operators out of men never on one before. So happy that mice hadn't peed the valves up tight

I have an RD6 with a home built direct electric start. They removed the pony at the pony clutch and mounted an electric starter. You engage the starter drive with the original lever and then push the button to run the starter. Works good.

man what a beauty. in our plastic, planned obsolescence world, those machines become more beautiful by the day. wouldn't have been bad to see the bleeding process though ... all makes great content.

You don't need to bleed the injectors by turning it over. Leave the throttle lever in the off position wich makes the injection pump have no pressure. Than crack all your injection lines and walk away for 3 hours and it will bleed itself.

If you think of the world of Mad Max or any of these post-apocalyptic worlds in the movies the machines you'll see running won't be the most modern newest John Deere's are cats or new Holland's of today e-you but it'll be an old at this time seventy-five-year-old Cat that will be resurrected because it only took a hammer screwdriver and a pair of pliers to get it going that's how planned obsolescence should be!
