If you mounted A light to your camera or put a strong head band lamp on your videographer, it might help as you direct home her to focus on a shaded part you are working on. Especially when the background is bright and you are working in shade.

That is really a masterful welding job and I mean no disrespect, but I have a question. I assume that the parent metal is cast steel, and anytime I see a repair like that on something that is subject to constant shock it doesn't last as long as the time it took to weld it. What is your expectation of lasting success.

I asked before I saw your post. It's certainly a Pica, and it appears to be soapstone because it holds up to the heat of torch cutting.
