I founded Caterpillar Cross Stitch in 2015 when I tried desperately for months to find a modern baby sampler my mum could stitch for new baby Felicity that would fit in with her simple, contemporary nursery. @@CaterpillarCrossStitch I was really glad to see this as I had suggested it for a long time for my home brewing hubby. He celebrates his 40th Year of Brewing with a big party here on Sat. Thanks Sally!!! Would love to see a needleminder for this sometime. How fun would that be?!

I did try stitching on wood on a Sulky ornament, it took me 30 hours and not that big. It was very difficult to get the strands through the holes and couldn't use the loop method as it was 4 strands and too many to get through easily, broke many needles, tried several types and sizes. Didn't work well and I wasn't the only one who had problems with it.

To use the loop method on 4 strands, that would create 8 strands. If you had wanted to use the loop method on your project, you would take 2 strands folded.
