Non-profit organisation, GG conservation, protects lions that have been rescued from terrible situations in and around Harrismith, South Africa.
The team at GG conservation have manufactured a new way to generate funds for their efforts whilst giving tourists and photographers an incredible experience to observe these magnificent lions.
Stepping inside this man-made cage, the entrant can closely watch the lions as they crawl and sprawl all over the structure.

Lions, even hungry lions, don't typically view Humans as prey, unless they are sick, malnourished or starving. More likely they view them with a mix of curiosity and as potential threats to their territory. They would likely kill them if given the chance but the smell/taste would be atypical to their usual diet and probably put them off leaving the corpses for scavengers. Lions that do acquire a taste for the common photographer are put down quickly.

This is correct, lions tend to prefer mooching off of carcasses left by other predators or seeking out prey such as buffalo, gazelles and zebras. Altered habitats, droughts or other circumstances can impact wildlife, which puts the lions in a pinch for food. They then tend to change up their diets to accommodate for the loss of usual food sources. But unless there's a severe lack of food lions won't go after people. Another reason lions can go man hunter is if they are injured/sick. Either way, any lions that go man hunter are quickly reported and killed because lions can pass that behaviour down to their cubs.

Being from Africa I have seen lions in the wild and lions like these in camps these turn out to be the most dangerous as they don't fear humans.When they are small they are there to attack visitors to places like lion parks. These parks always need a good supply or baby lions, but these parks got a problem when the grown lion population get to big. These lions don't hunt they are being fed. Most people that got killed by lions was in lion parks.
