I knew Jimi & Rory had to have met as Jimi & Taste were at The Isle Of Wright fest but i've never found out if they had any time to play or that much time to speak . It would have been cool if this was them but it sure is not . Nice job on it though. 🎸

I remember an interview with Rory talking about Jimi, saying that they had both seen each other play a couple of times and had spoken to each other briefly but never got to jam or hang out ❤

@@TheReveant888 I enjoy every honest rendition, so also yours. I guess Robert Petway and his peer and friend Tommy McClennan would agree. One of the ways to keep the tradition alive is to go on singing and playing these songs - especially now a lot of "artists" sell their "auto tuned" vocals and “digital music” to the youth. I listen to artists like Larkin Poe and the Irisch Dea Matrona as well. Not because they are better than their musical predecessors, but because - in view of their youthful appearances - they are more able to reach a part of today's youngsters with "real music" than - with all due respect - "the old guys and ladies”.
