It would be really cool if you guys made some sort of current update. What are Abby and her Mom up to these days? Has her mom catfished anyone else sense the movie? How were Abby and her Dad affected? And how was Aimee affected? I'd love to know.

Hmmm, I know this docu is meant to be a warning to us about fakery and the internet, but I find it very difficult to feel sympathetic towards Schulman, which I think is the intended point of the film. At the end of the film, sure, I felt kinda sorry for the poor gal who pulled the hole stunt, but Schulman, damn, but a little bit of me just thinks 'Just read 'If.....' put the camera down and deal with it!'

I could not stand this film. I rated it half a star. I had the same reaction as you. I had more sympathy (a tiny bit of sympathy--she obviously needs some kind of help) for the woman than for the filmmaker. Not sure that's a successful documentary.

It was a fake though, right??! No way did a lad living in NYC get fooled by a picture on the internet. NYC is stuffed full of gorgeous ladies, but he has to find one on the internet?!? He's a creep I think. It all worked out nice for him though, he has his tv show, again, probably the intention. By the way, un add me from your circles list please. It's nothing personal. A: I don't trust google lol and B I never use it, so it's a bit pointless adding me. Cheers!

I feel sorry for the unfaithful pigs husband. Why feel sorry this Angela who only cares about her self and feelings.? You might not like Nev but he's helping other catfished people while Angela probably sits on her ass all day feeling sorry for herself and might do this to someone else again one day.

But it's none of his business. he got fooled into thinking a gorgeous girl on the internet was into him. Big deal?!?!? He lives in NYC right?!? There's 1000's of beautiful women there and he has to find one on the internet? I just don't buy it., I find him very narcissistic to be honest. Besides, the film is a set up isn't it? Have you ever made a film? If you film someone, yo have to get them to sign a release form. Chances are, she made money out of it (I know if it was me, I'd be looking for cash straight up or no release form...no release form, no movie). I just don't like the guy, as my granddad would say 'if that guy was a bar of chocolate, he'd eat himself whole!!'
