Back in the early 90's I ran a few trotlines as an 18 year old. Man, that was some of the most fun I've ever had on Patoka. Nice work and thanks for sharing

I grew up trot lining for flatheads and actually been thinking about setting one. Used to put them out on the river in a 12 foot Jon boat with a trolling motor lol

Actually i live in southere,indiana just fish the ohio river. That is a 50 gal. Stock tank with a 800 gph pump coming in and a 600 gph pumping out. Not alot notice the cib. 😉 Ty my friend.

You need to take your butt up to Merkleys in Jasper, buy ya'll a whole beef heart, cube it, get 75 baits for 12$. Absolutely the best bait for Patoka, Rend lake, Lake Barkley... for trotlines, and Jug Fishing :)

suggestion concerning putting the rock on the line. Take an old knee high stocking - drop the rock, or rocks into the stocking and tie off the end of the stocking. Will take alot less time. :-)

Those channels will put the hurt on you. I had a two pounder flip as i went to grab it and the side barb went so deep i had to pull the fish with my other hand to get it out. My hand swelled up and throbbed for over an hour.. extremely painful.
