LOVEBITES is named after Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do I)", a song, that singer Asami was performing in order to join the band after their founding in 2016. They have performed it later several times in UK and Tokyo together with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm in live performances. Other bands, they've played on the same stage were DragonForce and Arch Enemy. They occasionally met other Japanese Band members like Nemophila, Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme and all 7 members of Helloween, just to name a few. In 2024, we (the Wolfpack 🐺) expect a world tour, two festivals are already committed: Spain in June 2024 and Atlanta, Georgia, USA in September 2024. More to come... hopefully!

"Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down)" is really an unusual choice for the first encounter! LOVEBITES can play very different genres, this is more the Motörhead direction. A more classical first song would be "Holy War". That song shows roughly their capabilities... definitely live! (Live @Zepp DiverCity, Tokyo, 2020)

@@salsaucedo Partially agree. There's no need to start with "Holy War", I myself was introduced by "Winds Of Transylvania", which is an unusual choice as well. As I always say, every song (without exception) is good/fantastic or a masterpiece, every song can introduce you to LOVEBITES. Why not "Don't Bite The Dust", like in great old days? Another big one is "Shadowmaker" (2017). Or take the Maiden path with "The Crusade". That's not the point. Now our disagreement: Still there are songs, that are better suited >>overall

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some informations about the band: The band is around since 2016 and released their first EP and album in 2017. At this point they have 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases. LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe back in 2018/2019, including the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new band. Then came Covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After that LOVEBITES came back with new bassist and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. New album with the same title came out in February 2023. LOVEBITES finished touring in Japan a couple of weeks ago. Earlier this year in march they played their comeback show. This was their first live gig since 2021 and first show with their new bassist Fami. There are 4 videos on their YT channel from this show. I suggest „The hammer of wrath“ the first song of this concert for a next reaction. We the Wolfpack, name of LOVEBITES fans worldwide, are all hoping for a world tour next year. Lovebites actually got their name from Halestorm's song Love Bites (so do I) and Asami was invited on stage with Halestorm to sing a duet of the song. You mentioned Motorhead the intro is very reminiscent of Motorhead's song Ace of Spades, a very classic rock style. Hope you continue to do more Lovebites and watch your channel grow 60+ songs and all are freaking phenomenal.

Keep LOVEBITES in your future. 【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell!

LOVEBITES has about 60 songs. Please keep up the good work LOVEBITES. LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015. The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP". On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER. On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full. "Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated. On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry. Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word because they deserve more recognition. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, Dragonforce, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Angra, Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen, Pantera, and even Gary Moore, but they have been developing their unique style. Their live performances are outstanding and they always wear in white dresses. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined Lovebites. Miyako is also a concert level classical pianist, trained since she was 3 years old. Miho (ex bassist and founder of the band) said in an interview that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. Many of their songs have an uplifting and positive message. Some people say that they’re redefining metal. My next recommendations are “Hammer of wrath”, “Judgement day” (live, 2023) and “Set the world on fire” (live, 2021). Believe me when I say that you’ve just scratched the tip of the iceberg. Some people say that rock is not dead, it just moved to Japan.
