Adrian Belew on the lead guitar, who played for Zappa and Bowie before the Heads.

He also played in King Crimson. Just kills it in this one.

Best album of the Talkin Heads. Eno produced it, as well as engineered with TH. They brought in Belew b/c of his reputation in music, as well. Collectively, musicians from around the world collaborated on this one. The song is about "the big curve" or the mysterious feminine nature of this world. Mother Earth and all that. The Talking Heads were somewhat pioneers in introducing Ethno-music, by using Afrobeats and Sonic exploration with atypical lyrics/storyline. The album is great for road tripping. Tina Weymouth was the bassist and a cornerstone of the group. She was also the founder member of the Tom Tom Club.

Check out the great Anatomy of a Track version here on YT. Each player is represented separately. It really highlights the complexity of this song.

The song is a rhythmic juggernaut. Hang on or get out of the way.

One of my fave TH tracks. Angelique Kidjo does cool covers of it too.

This song gives you no breaks. Dive in and you get fragmented. I feel some Frank Zappa like momentum.

Eno's track Kings Lead Hat is an anagram of Talking Heads.

I may be wrong, but I get the feeling that "the curve" means the curves of a woman, their hypnotic power over men.

The 1980s King Crimsom with Adrian Belew was very Talking Headish.

This is intended strictly as constructive feedback. Delete the first 2:30 of the video. "Have I or haven't I covered this song before?" isn't a debate I care to hear. That's a question you should answer before pressing Record. Belew is pronounced like Baloo the bear in Disney's Jungle Book, not BELL-oo. Now I know so far I sound like a detestable a--hole. But I gotta say, your musical instincts are pretty good. Keep it up. I look forward to seeing your videos improve.
