Actually, the Cathay Pacific discrimination incident made a huge benefit to ordinary Chinese travellers😂! The incident made the prices of Cathay flights departing China very cheap and much more competitive than other airlines. Also, it was really a minor case and doesn’t happen often.

Sure CX has been trying its very best to please Mainland Chinese travelers, on Xiamen - HK 55 minutes flight including take-off and landing in business class there are 2 meal choices plus ice cream as dessert. I really don't know which airlines in the world would do that on a 55 minutes flight with 39 passengers in business class.

Looks like a fantastic flight in economy with all of the extras like the headphones and the blanket. The cabin looked fresh despite the age of the A330. It's definitely one of my favourite longhaul aircraft to fly on with the 2-4-2 configuration. Your BA flight report shall be interesting!

Yep, Cathay were great but I have almost nothing good to say about British Airways so I hope you don't mind negative videos 👍

Thanks for travelling via HK and glad to hear that it turned out ok. HK and London are so well connected so even Cathay themselves have 2 flights to London 1 hr apart (12am and 1am) which is nice for those connecting. Cathay themselves have 5 flights per day (I think) and BA and other airlines also have more flights. Hope you will travel through Hk again in the future.

No, it's all one ticket. I bought both the Cathay flight and BA flight from the BA website

It was quite turbulent as we were flying around a few storms. Though I think the seat belt sign was on for maybe 30 min in total so not too bad.

Laat time I flew with cathay was on 2010-2011 with there a340s & 747s, the flights were great & the green square cups were beautifully decorated with black spots (in food service), somehow it was a downgrade when I saw this vid 😢 Though the good thing is in 2011 I & my mom unexpectedly got a chance to fly in business from HKG to MNL since there was no more available seats in economy, & it was also great.
