I just returned from visiting this magnificent Cathedral, it’s a must see if your in St. Louis regardless of your faith, it’s simply breathtaking.

To explore, can you just go there and go inside ? Or do you have to check in? Buy tickets? Call in advance?

You can just go. They're open 7a-5p. They do have mass at 7, 8, and noon, but between 9a-noon is a good time or after the last one. You do not need tickets or reservations. Someone will be there to offer to answer any questions you may have also, but they will not bother you.
