It's expensive - but you get 280g. With most vegan cheese you only get 200g. This stuff is gorgeous. I'm making a quiche with it, and Vivera vegan bacon pieces. 😛

Guys! I have seen this everywhere and I am super excited to try this, as I haven't yet. Your review sounded amazing! I really wanna get my hands on this when I have the chance and time. Might do a Home Delivery Shop at some point to get this, as Tesco's and Sainsbury's, and M&S I don't have where I live as I am quite rural, but can order from any of them by Delivery only. I know this Cheese is in Tesco's though. Can't wait!!!

Well, I just got back from my night shift. After a san miguel I sampled my first try of Cathedral City Vegan. Very impressed, very creamy and flavourful. More pricey per gram, but, If i tried it not knowing, I would say its a very tasty cheese. Now Im thinking of a richmond vegan sausage and vegan cheese toasty.

@@ThoseVeganGuys I don’t like it at all guys, it’s horrid. I tried it today. I had such high hopes for it as well. I can’t get over the coconut taste…I can still taste it. The first bite was okay but then I had the coconut aftertaste. After that it’s all I could taste. I’ll make Mac and cheese and see if it changes my perception. If not I’ll just to have to push the boat out and get the artisan nut based cheeses. If I have to splurge for decent vegan cheese I’ll just have to. I’m glad it’s to your tastebuds though, at least you’ll have something to enjoy. Xx

It was sold out this morning at our local Tesco sadly. Empty cardboard... silver lining is that people have been snapping it up. Currently sitting in the carpark after work, partner is nipping in to see if it's been restocked. I'm desperate! 😆 If its as good as you say, I will be over the moon because I'll be sorted on the cheese front. The only other vegan mainstream cheeses I like is the Nurishhh camembert and the vegan babybels. I can't stand coconut oil cheese usually, it just has a bizarre aftertaste and smell.

Havnt tried it yet but we will be , we use to have this before going vegan, it was our fave cheese , we have been using epic mature by violife , which is a smaller block for £2.60 so i dont think that is a bad price as the pack looks double the size

So apparently Cathedral City is available in Canada. The bottom most fine print line at the bottom of the page says it trades as Saputo dairy products UK, USA, and CA. BUT, and there's always such a big but, it appears that vegan version is UNavailble in Ca. (I wanted to check the nutrient/ingredients of this cheese and Possibly buy some. I have been avoiding fatty foods like cheeses, ice creams, and such. When you both or otherwise known as y'all, said it had that jaw joint tang, I had curiosity piqued and looked them up, hoping to see their ingedient and nutrient info like the other products they do, have.
