Maybe the Yeo Valley didn't have much flavour because it was unsalted butter?

Yeah, I think so. I chose unsalted as that seemed to be the most equivalent to the vegan spreads, as they're not advertised as 'salted'.

@@GavinWren Should have probably done it by checking the Ingredient Label Unsalted Yeo Valley has 0.@0g per 100g Salted Yeo has 1.5g per 100 Vegan Butter has 1.2g per 100 Flora Plant Based 1.7g It may not advertise as salted but it's salted just as much

For the taste of the Yeo valley, it’s definitely due to it being unsalted. Salted would have been scored higher

Not sure why you chose Yeo Valley. There are plenty of comparable kinds of butter on the market at around £2. Take a look at Dragon butter to see what I mean.

This is great! I’ve never seen the President spreadable butter before, it would be interesting to see how spreadable Lurpak compares in your test as I would think it is the branded favourite in the UK.

How about manufacturing a healthy alternative.(vegan does not mean healthy) without the cheap unhealthy oils to keep the cost low ?

I'd love to see a video on trans fats, unsaturated fats, and saturated fats. I used to steer clear of margarine because I thought it had trans fats but apparently they've been completely phased out (even though they're apparently still legal in the UK). Also I'm glad to see Flora won, and I bet you could freeze all of these too!

I don't think modern 'magarines' or plant based spreads contain trans or hydrogenated fats like they used to.

I don't even care if it is horrible, I am sticking to my diet.
