Unfortunately in her case, they presumed what she had was noncancerous initially and only after lab results, did they find it cancerous and placed her under chemo therapy. Either they knew from the start it was cancerous or they somehow missed a cancerous (I’m assuming colon) diagnosis which can spiral out of control if not treated immediately
