It sounds like she has either Ovarian Cancer or uterine cancer. I see a lot of breast, cancer, research and awareness but I don’t see much with Ovarian Cancer or uterine cancer. It needs a lot of awareness , more and more people are getting it. I am currently going through my third treatment since 2017. My body is so tired. We are forced to take each day at a time. There’s so much uncertainty with this disease. The statistics are very troubling.

Significant that neither the Princess nor the Palace has said that this is a cancer caught in an early stage…..only that it was unexpected. Big, sad and probably significant difference. My physician husband and I were listening and hoping for the words “early stage” or “very treatable.” Hopefully this is just another sign of poor palace PR and not the more likely sign that this is very, very serious.

I asked myself what the point is of telling the whole world you have cancer and I couldn’t come up with a satisfying answer. It’s a personal matter and secondly, lots of people get cancer and they don’t all post it on social media. Cancer is treatable these days especially if it’s in the early stages like she has. I don’t think she said she has 3 months left to live.

No offense, but that is false. At some point this needed to be made public, given the Princess' role. I respect the way she chose to reveal her condition, and the wisdom she displayed in not saying too much. King Charles revealed his condition, which is also brave. I do hope that the media will maintain a respectful distance, as the family goes through this. I am praying for all of them.
