Some people don't really want to give credit where credit is due and they seem to not understand the amount of work which must go into it behind the scenes to come across as authentic when visiting those charities she dedicates herself to. Catherine actually amazes me at times, just like a lot of parents do who have children and have to work. When praising Catherine I often think of all the parents out there that have to balance work with home life. Not to mention her support for her husband especially when all eyes are on her. I always feel like we get the real deal when it comes to Catherine, she talks with some authority because she has the knowledge to back it up. No word salad from the Princess of Wales, just a good work ethic.

I disagree respectfully about any issue regarding envy: Kate Middleton envying Meghan Markle or vice-versa, Meghan Markle envying Kate Middleton, simply because Kate Middleton is dead, deceased, kaput, gone. RIP Kate Middleton. There's no issue of envy either way because one of them, Kate M, has died on December 28, 2023 and has not been seen publicly since December 25, 2023 (and will never be seen in public EVER again, mark my words, save for a clone or two, which the elite do employ to save energy or save face). The clone part mentioned here could be debatable or doubted, I think, but her death / Kate Middleton's death could not. The truth will come out eventually. The truth is that Kate Middleton will never be Queen Consort, dear Kate Sugars.

In life we have two kind of people : the doers and the sayers. Remember The Royal Foundation Forum? Every one on that stage spoke about their work and how much of impact is having on others, while the newcomer waffled on about "when you hit the ground running doing it quietly behind the scenes which I focus MY energy on thus far" turning it into a political campaign speech and female rights seminar spearheaded by her as the expert on all things . Of course we all know now the "quiet work" was setting up domain names and hoping to funnel some of the juice from the foundation into her and that one's pocket, later hitting the ground running with whatever loot they can snatch out of the UK and into California. The strength Catherine had to be sitting on that stage next to her toddler's bully while pregnant is commendable really, to put aside her feelings to, as Meg would preach : SHOW UP, DO GOOD. Catherine is a doer, Meg is a sayer.

You're absolutely right - a lot of the RF initiatives are lengthy & quite often life-long work. So much goes on behind the scenes that is not reported - we rarely hear about it or see it. The RF do so much research, planning, preparation & behind the scenes contact & follow up. The thing is with Markle minions, all they see is her jumping on no end of band wagons most of which she just 'attaches her name to' after the hard graft has been done & so her deluded followers wrongly assume but like to claim, that she works hard & achieves a lot! Catherine is slowly but surely filling a sustainable reservoir - Markle is pouring water into a sieve & splashing in shallow puddles that will quickly dry up in the sun.

I agree with you totally on the work and impact Catherine's work has had. And yes when we dig a bit it becomes all too clear. What I would say is, is that I think the Palace comms and PR team are struggling to get their act together right now. Their handling of Catherine's photogate and also her illness was woeful. She ended up being unfairly exposed to the anti Catherine movement and this is exacerbated by the fact the public have to dig a bit to see the true impact she is having. I think the issue was the media and Sussex fans whipped up into a frenzy by the Sussexes. The key to success for Royalty is a little mystique. We don’t need them promoting themselves too much (like a certain person in Montecito) or they become celebrities. The issue is how terrible the media was. Princess Catherine’s photo was lovely and she also has every right to lay low while she recovers.
@jslater94427 ай бұрын
@@ros6553I think back in the 70 s,80s, and 90s I would agree with you. It worked well then. However we live in a different era now. We dont need to over promote and the alternative is not the extreme Sussex type propaganda. Reacting to bad publicity is the wrong way to go but a measured response is necessary. They cant change others behaviour such as the media or Sussex squad but they can strengthen their defences.Also delivering a long term strategy is a slow burn but there are small wins along the journey. When the late Queen said the Royal family need to be seen, she wasnt talking just about wearing bright clothes. We are extremely fortunate to have Catherine and she needs to be protected by her comms and PR team as well as providing the balanced promotion of the impact of her fantastic works being made more widely known,. There should not be mystique around the work they are doing and the outcomes of that work. Its that work that makes the monarchy relevant and special and there are some who need to see value for their tax payments. As for their private life and their health, I think it should be out of bounds unless it affects the future of the monarchy. I have been a Royalist for 60 years and one thing I have learnt from the late Queen we have to move forward with the times which she did effortlessly. She would have been horrified to see what happened to Catherine. Hopefully the new CEO for William and Catherine's office will make the comms and PR more robust and timely which in turn will allow their good works be the talking point as they should be.

lindaandersonholmes8270: reminds me of then Prince Charles trying to promote the benefits of organic farming for so many years, now vindicated by the sell-out of his Highgrove jam. The 5 Wales' are living in a 4brm house, no room for live in staff. Even her office staff are miles away at KP. They converted a storeroom to get a 2nd bathroom ! As it is Heritage protected Crown property they cannot change or enlarge it.

Princess Catherine doesn't feel the need to have over saturated puff pieces in the media to speak for her. HRH actually does the work whether she's in the News or not. The Princess is one of a kind. That is why we love her.

Thank you so much for doing the work required for this video. ❤ I find astounding the sheer ignorance of those trying to degrade the work of Princess Catherine and Prince William, as well as King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the other working members of the Royal Family. They don’t understand the amount of work done and the staff needed for ‘just spending an afternoon smiling, cutting ribbons, making speeches, and shaking hands’. They think the time in front of the camera is all that matters. I am so thankful for Princess Catherine’s work emphasizing how important the first years of a child’s life are. Thanks again!💕

Thank you Shauna for sharing this. Catherine is a hard working royal, not a fashionista celebrity. That is Meghan's sphere. Empty word salad, red carpet in horrendous clothes, getting papped. No work done, vacuous celebrity. Well done Catherine, the wonderful Princess of Wales.

First of all Shauna, thank you for this most excellent picture of the extent of the contribution of this remarkable woman. Something that many people forget is that a Princess Consort of Wales has no formal statutory Constitutional duties. Actually, the duties of the wife of a Prince of Wales are to be a help and support to her husband, and to raise happy, healthy children who are well-prepared for their unique and challenging roles in life. That’s it. Until Diana came along and shook things up, all that was expected of a Princess Consort was to lend her name to one or two “nice” causes and rock up to a few ribbon cuttings and afternoon teas. If she looked good in ermine and bling for state occasions, that was a bonus. The fact is that all the extremely valuable contribution Catherine is making is actually unpaid volunteer work. How many of her uniformed critics are known for their selfless volunteering?

Great video Shauna, it shows what real feminism looks like;lifting up and highlighting other women’s achievements and not the fake rubbish the other one spouts only to make herself look the hero. I love Catherine’s disarming feminity, she uses her great brains, dignity and Grace in all the right ways, she’s is definitely serving and improving humanity and she neither wants nor needs an award to do so! @@Brightangel55 Princess Catherine has done so much more than a class project when she was 11. I am so proud of Princess Catherine, her husband, Prince William, her children, and her parents who all chip in where and when needed. The Prince and Princess of Wales give out awards. This was an absolutely fantastic and much needed presentation. You had clearly put in a great deal of time and effort and I, for one, appreciated it immensely. I started my nurse training in 1979 and fully remember The Black Report which disputed the belief that the NHS served all citizens equally.....as you identified yourself through The Princess's work. The report identified what was called The Chattering Class. Indeed it was middle class, more highly educated people who were able to feel free to be assertive and articulate intelligently and forcefully what they wanted from their doctors. Those less well off economically and educationally tended to remain silent ; feeling intimidated by middle class Dr's. Well done Catherine for reiterating these findings. Her love extends beyond class boundaries.

Great video. Catherine is a very tough, gentle caring woman. All the back biting and viciousness that has just gone on is born from jealousy. Mainly by ill informed, nasty people. I won’t relax about Catherine until I see her healthy again. Humanity scares me in so much various sectors think it’s ok to run down somebody battling cancer. They are very sick mentally themselves.

Shauna I’m full of gratitude for your advocacy for the work of The Princess of Wales. Her work for the early years ( The Big 5 etc) has been under taken for over a decade and has been impactful. She is an educated, intelligent and empathetic person who truely does serve others. I have read plenty of articles which belittle and tokenise her work. Like The Prince’s Trust IMO the quality and longevity of Catherine’s work needs to be recognised for its incredible impact at the grassroots level. Every time I see fluff articles about Harry’s wife and her feminist driven humanitarian work I shake my head at the hypocrisy. Catherine is the real feminist and humanitarian who people everywhere can see as an amazing role model!

She's a great inspiration. As you said Shauna, her excellent work often flies under the radar because she puts others front and centre, she facilitates instead of stealing all the limelight. I felt so grateful you highlighted Catherine's work & gave her some deserved justice by putting together this very well-researched video. You clearly did a bit of hard work yourself in doing so. Thank you Shauna for this expose on Catherine's work. She truly is an amazing beautiful intelligent woman. I read recently that William has critics for his homeless initiative. Mention of him using the Finland project as a guude was made. There is a YT video on the Finland project started by one man with the dream. Like Catherine's project it covers the broad spectrum of social needs, as I imagine William's project will also. I recommend viewers search that Finland homeless video to understand what can be achieved with an idea, dedication, expert advice, enthusiasm and a solid plan that can be long lasting for generations to build on and continue. It's people power instilling self respect and community pride. I'm 💯 behind Catherine and William with their long term selfless dedication and thoughtful service to their broader UK family. I wish the people could appreciate the treasure they have in the Prince and Princess of Wales, that we in our Commonwealth country 🇦🇺 would love to have closer.

Thank you yet again Shauna…….it really bugs me when people say the RF don’t do anything and are living off our taxes …in particular the ‘keyboard warriors’ and that shows how totally ignorant these people are…..if only they would educate themselves ….! I get that Catherine by always looking good brings awareness to causes but if only more people reporting on events would also stress the reasons and the work behind it all as you have done here Shauna…….! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again …you are the voice of reason and deserve wider recognition because nobody will get it from the MSM nor from SM channels which just put out click bait and made up boring nonsense……! You are a lone voice in giving us something positive about the RF and the good they achieve with their Trusts and Foundations …..Prince William’s Earthshot initiative is another example of long term action and commitment not just words ….! Mention of the ex-royals should be relegated to a post script just so they can be called to account as they must be….! Xx

I fully agree with your take on Catherine's goals and strategic and tireless work. Do you recall her first solo overseas visit to Denmark? Primary reason was connected with the late Queen's Platinum jubilee. It focused also learning about Denmark's innovative approach and projects to support children in their growth, initiatives that are reputably succesful ❤ In 2022 while in Boston for Earthshot Prize, she took time to visit the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University for a discussion with reaserchers "the advances in science that van assist in achieving a promising future for every child" (from the press release). Apparently, the connection and support had happened way before the 2022 visit.
