The Relationship between Catherine & the late Queen was so Precious! The Fondness of the two towards each other was very obvious! The Queen guided Catherine thru all of the challenges one might have when being a Duchess, the Princess of Wales & Queen Consort! Although Catherine comes by most of it, seemingly Effortless, she was always assured that the Queen was behind her all the way! Now there's bound to be a Void in Catherine's life on her passing, as well as you said, her remembering "Last Year At This Time".... If the Queen were still alive, she would have been the first to tell Catherine to Rest & Take the Time to seek Healing, without feeling pressure to return to soon & risk her Health Progress!

Hi Neil, I watch you daily but don’t always comment. Even though I’m an American I have a deep love and respect for all things British. Regarding Catherine’s tearing up, most people associate tears with sadness but that isn’t necessarily the only cause. I have battled through and survived three cancers…two required surgery and long sessions of chemotherapy. For the first year following my treatment I would have random instances of emotional tears just from thankfulness that I was still alive. People can speculate all they want but unless dear Catherine shares with us the reasons, people need to let it go. I just thank God that she is on the other side of a bad year. 🥰🇺🇸

It has been a horrendous year for Princess Catherine, and I know myself that I am grateful that I didn’t know in the past what the future held. We are all thankful that she has come through the other side of the cancer treatment and is doing well, although she has to allow herself to rest and recover. We all understand that, at serious and sad moments such as the two minute silence, we allow ourselves to think of those dear to us who are no longer with us, and what we have had to deal with in the previous year. She has been, an absolute heroine over the last year, putting up with all of the negative press and social media comments, while dealing with her illness. I am very grateful that the Duchess of Edinburgh was with her and could give her a supportive pat on the back. God bless the Royal family. They do an incredible service for us all.
