Today we're talking stay at home mom life & I'm giving you guys some cleaning motivation! I was a full time working mom for several years and now that I'm a stay at home mom, I find it hard to find the motivation some days. We live in a small house and I love sharing small space organization ideas and small space cleaning motivation as well. I'm hoping this provides some encouragement! As a temporary fix in the bathroom you could use Damp Rid. It absorbs extra water out of the air and works as a non-electric dehumidifier. We used them to counter a mustiness in closets in our old house and it worked great.

We have them all over our house. Honestly, I need to get one of the buckets and put it in our bathroom closet. That is the first place to start growing stuff since it is right in our bathroom.

I can see that your dishwasher silverware holder has a flip down top to separate utensils. Close that and put each handle in a slot by itself. This keeps them separated when washing so they all get washed and aren’t jumbled together.

Can try a pink salt lamp. With constant humidity the added salt in the air should help keep mold at bay and kill whats there. I turn my salt lamps on every day for few hours. Make sure you get authentic..itll crust salt over time if it is.

You need to get a higher price fan. I had the same issue and it turns out, my old fan was not powerful enough. I got one that you leave on and it controls the moisture and humidity and shuts off automatically. It also turns on by itself when you take a shower and bath.

I love your kitchen sweetie! I can’t believe the transformation. You did a wonderful job designing it. Housework will always be there, but your sweet boys will be grown before you know it, so enjoy every minute with them. My husband and are empty nesters, and we sure miss the days when our 2 sons were making messes. LOL Thank you for another great video!❤️

Damp rid is amazing. I have used it for years in my bathrooms and basement. They make many to choose from. Your home is beautiful. You did a wonderful job decorating it and love your kitchen update.

First off thanks for the cleaning motivation I’m currently trying to reset from Thanksgiving break and prep for Christmas decor. Second for the bathroom I’d get a higher powered fan a lot of the older fans are middle of the road or lower powered so upping the suction will get it out through the vent more. And lastly Sutton is so adorable he’s gotten so big.

I alternate my silverware in the dishwasher too, especially spoons. It seems like they “nest” in each other so they don’t always get clean. Sure am loving your new kitchen.

Your shelves look great!❤. Your trash guy would be nuts with me. Lol. I bag my trash and haul it off to recycle lol. I do it all at home grass cutting, painting, cleaning, laundry, cooking. You name it. My husband is unable to do these things and I have a older sister who lives with me who isn’t able to really help. But I’m good with it all, we just do the best we can ❤ We have the same size bathroom. I have a window in mine. But I had mold in one corner of my ceiling and I sprayed it with bleach and water mix. And when I paint it I put bleach in my paint. So far it good.

Have you tried a small dehumidifier in the bathroom? Pretty sure there are one that sense and regulate it for you. Also, I do the same thing with the dish brush in the shower! I’m terrible about remembering to clean things regularly, but with that, my shower has never been cleaner!

Also, use Kilz Mold and Mildew paint and primer after you get that mold cleaned up! It will prevent it from coming back 😊

When my son was in college he had his own bathroom in the house he rented, we purchased Damp Rid buckets they worked awesome, plus a window would probably solve the issue. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃.

Your couch looks way better the way you moved it , I thought the room looked cut in two the other way. I would leave it that way and tackle the other end of the room to make it fit better for your daily use.

I put my silverware face down out of habit for when my kids where little. I didn’t want them to accidentally fall when I was emptying the dishwasher and fall face-first into forks or knives.

I put my silverware in facing up and down. My reasoning is that if you put them in the same way, they can end up stacking like they are in the silverware drawer. I’ve had it happen and then you are rewashing. My knives always are blade down.

We also have one bathroom with no window! I use one of those Damprid containers behind toilet. Maybe upgrade your fan?
