Ugh, I am struggling with our linen/ medicine closet. I have 2 closets. And then the other closet has cleaning/ extra stuff. But I also use that second closet that is right next to the restroom for our dirty clothes. It sucks because these closets have no doors. The house I am renting is old. Lol

To me, if something has an expiration date on it, then it expires!! I won't use anything past the date on it 😀😀

Same! Our children’s Benadryl was expired and I kept that only because I’d rather have an expired one than none at all in an emergency. But as soon as I grab a new one, that one’s gone!

I know this video is from a year ago, but if anyone like me is watching it, please don't use expired medication. It can be deadly! A relative of mine was taking pain medication for a chronic issue that flares up at time & didn't pay attention to the expiration date. One day, she went into anaphylactic choc. If her husband hadn't given an allergy pill (her child's) when she started getting rashes, called an ambulance immediately & if the hospital wasn't less than 5 min away from their house, she would have died. She became severely allergic to the molecule. She also had to carry both allergy pills & an epi pen with her for years, because her body was in overdrive mode & would react badly to the most random things, like eating a non organic vegetable, or touching a random piece of clothing in a shop. Luckily, her body settled back down to the point that she only keeps the allergy pills these day, but it was a painful journey.

medication is probably one of the things thats should very strictly adhere to the expiration as chemicals have very strict half lives and such and can very much be bad to take expired medication
