Not sure how I didn’t find this video sooner. Love the result of yours. I just did this with a pair of button fly dark blue skinny jeans. I went to a thrift store, found a similar stretch jean in a lighter shade of blue. Love them now.

I really liked the cuff, once they were lowered. Ingenious way of widening the legs. Can you raise a low waist next? I have never liked low waist, but I like my jeans otherwise. Would love your take on how to raise the waist without just plonking another waistband on top of the existing one, which I think looks wrong and botchy, any ideas??

So amazing. Looks great. This week I lengthened the sleeves of a cuffed, long sleeved denim jacket by cutting across the sleeve above the slit. I did not have the same material, but I went with a heavier jeans material of a similar colour. I cut it with the grain. It was surprisingly effective. Yoy would not know it was not part if the garment. I added about 4 inches to the sleeve length and it is really comfy now. Thanks for giving me the courage to just cut up a favourite garment and know I can do it!
