Imagine the possibilities with this dessert if you didn't want to use lemon pudding! You could even use regular chocolate Oreos and make a chocolate version. You could also set aside some crumbs for the chocolate version and put them IN the chocolate pudding to make a dirt version, where you can decorate it with gummy worms. This was a fun one Catherine! You had my brain working overtime with different versions of this!

This looks really good. Our family is lemon crazy so I'd probably use lemon oreos for the crust, and add a touch of lemon juice and zest to the pudding, and then for the crumble on top the remaining zest. Mmmm that sounds so good I may have to make it this weekend. :)

This looks so good, and a great summer refreshing dessert. I made a chocolate dessert similar to this but you make a crust, it is really good too. I love anything with cream cheese. You could use the lemon Oreo's too for a more lemon taste. Thank you for sharing. I love a good summer or anytime dessert like this. I am going to make this for the weekend. This is very similar to what I made during the 70's & 80's, called "pouf pouf pie". We didn't use oreo's for the crust. I used a pecan shortbread crust and baked it. Other than that, it's exactly the same. You can use different pudding flavors as well.
