A lot of times it can be hard to know how to begin journaling in prayer. "What do I say?!" "What am I supposed to write down?" etc.
So many questions can run through our brains! Jenna and Beth share how they journal in prayer. That's not to say it's THE ONLY WAY! It's just how they're doing it (now).

Talk about the Holy Spirit moving . I haven't seen you 2 on any channel for years, but this morning 1st comes up ask the Lord what He wants you to do for Lent. And then this. He has asked me years to get up early and spend time and to journal. So thank you ladies great you 'popped up by chance ' today. ❤😂

Ok. I'm not even halfway through this video and I love it. This is what I needed to hear today. So earlier today, I spent time before the Tabernacle, feeling desperate and crying and begging God to help me change if what I'm doing is unjust (my meaning here is, if how I'm living my life isn't right), and I get home and I see on my KZbin recommendations: Jesus Never Begged God for Anything and Neither Should We (a video by Fr. Alex de Paulis from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in San Diego). And then later on, I see this video. Thank you for the tips! Happy upcoming Lent, everyone!

So writing down my prayers will get God to acknowledge them? There is nothing I can do to make God want to hear my prayers. It’s no longer worth it for me to build a relationship with God, so I’ve given up.

Hi friend! Just want to leave a word of encouragement. It can be so hard when God feels far away. Some of the greatest saints have felt this way, like St. Teresa of Calcutta and St. John of the Cross. God loves you so much, and delights in your desire for a relationship with Him.
